Sauce & Cheese Stuffed Burger
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lb. Ground Wagyu Beef
- 4-6 slices Colby Jack Cheese
- 4-5 tbsp. Blues Hog Bold & Beefy Seasoning
- 1 cup Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
- 1 lb. Bacon
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- Lettuce
- 1 large tomato
- 1/2 cup Sandwich sliced pickles
- 4 tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- 4 tbsp. Butter
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat grill.
- Shape ground beef into 8 large, round patties.
- Cut colby jack slices into quarters, place your desired amount of cheese on 4 of the patties. Take the other patties and lay one on top of each cheese stacked patty. Pinch the sides together and shape into one large patty so that the cheese is fully encased.
- Generously season patties with Bold & Beefy and place over direct heat.
- Use a spatula to flip the burgers over. Add more Bold & Beefy to season the other side for boosted flavor.
- While burgers are cooking, lay bacon in a sheet pan and cover in brown sugar. Cook over the grill alongside burgers or in a 400 oven for 20 minutes.
- Move burgers from direct heat and into an aluminum pan. Cover each patty in Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Let the burgers sit in the sauce for 5-10 minutes for a good tacky glaze.
- Butter buns and toast over direct grill heat for about 2 minutes.
- Transfer burgers to bottom buns and top with bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo.
- Serve and enjoy!
