Reuben Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb. Shaved Pastrami (Brisket here - Pastrami Brine here)
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp. Dill Relish
- 1 tsp. Blues Hog Rodeo Rub
- 5 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 lb. Drained Sauerkraut
- 8 slices Rye Bread
- 8 slices Gruyere Swiss Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Stir together mayonnaise, Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce, Relish, and Lemon Juice. Season with Rodeo Rub to taste.
- Spread above dressing on each slice of bread and place on a buttered griddle. On top of 4 slices of bread, place sauerkraut, pastrami, and cheese. Take bread from the griddle and place on top of other side with meat. Grill until heated through and cheese is melted.
- Remove from griddle, slice in half, and serve warm!
