Also known as an eye of round roast, our Rump Roast is a favorite for a quick slow cooker meal or roast beef sandwich. Although it is naturally a tougher cut, the impeccable marbling makes this leaner meat much more flavorful.
The rump roast is best prepared in a pot roast or oven roasted.
Labeled as Marble Max, this cut is the best-of-the-best and ranks as A5 on the Japanese grading scale for its superior marbling. All Marble Max products will have a marbling score of 8-12.
